I'd love to hear other posters' opinions as to the rationale behind the current takeover bid, as I can't for the life of me see that it makes any sense to sell at the offered price. I can only conclude that this is an opportunistic bid, but can't imagine that many shareholders would find it compelling.
Having patiently held my shares for a number of years I believe that the Company has been professionally run and has been steadily increasing in value. I can also see the prospect of further SP growth with the programs that are presently in place.
I received a 'ring around' call on Thursday asking about my intentions with regard to the bid, and had no hesitation in responding that I have no intention of selling out at or close to the current price.
Perhaps those who find the offer attractive might care to share their rationale?
