It's silly, meaningless, political sabre clashing, conducted because they've got nothing else to argue about and in order to show their faithful that they're "doing" something. Nothing more than an academic exercise.
If they're gonna tax anyone, they might as well tax these sinister "hot lollywater" products which I don't consider as a tax on alcohol but a tax on damaging products. Raise them boys! Same with the fags!
