Hottin, make no mistake. I am thankful - extremely thankful - to our board of directors (and all ANO employees) for the reasons I stated in my post. My feeling of gratitude and respect have no bounds.
I'm also thankful to kearneymaurice and vestro and others on this website for all the information and analysis they've freely shared about ANO. And to the founders of hotcopper for providing this great forum.
And yes, I'm also thankful to the taxpayer-funded boffins at UWA - because their loss (well it's not really their loss, rather the loss will be felt by the students at UWA) has been to my direct benefit. That said, in my opinion - and it is only my opinion - people who have their snouts in the taxpayer trough deserve a little bit of flak when they screw up.
