This tax is just a stupid, poltically inane, grubby, money grabbing proposal and has nothing to do with reducing teenage drinking.
The Government should introduce positive steps to reduce excess teenage drinking, but it won't be easy whilst governments at the State and Federal levels rely on alcohol consumption to balance their budgets and bars can open for all hours of the day and night.
