Market sales price quoted is usually quoted FOB at the export port, in this case KI. It does not include the cost of shipping to the client, and therefore there is no need for you to minus any shipping cost. Any FOB sale projection amount provided in annual reports for coal companies quotes the sales price for the coal once delivered to the respective export port. The only transportation cost the producer of the coal or mineral is required to provide is for the product to be transported to the export port agreed to with the buyer, and loaded on the ship (hence FOB - free on board).
$10/t is a conservative estimate from Western Australia to China (Port of Qingdao, for example).
