Probably because there is still 34c still outstanding and the current sp is only 28.5c.

Interestingly though NL means No Liability a type of mining company with no right to call up the unpaid issue price of shares. So who knows when the other 34c needs to be paid?

I wouldn't be buying them as they would probably be very illiquid and would appear to be trading at a premium. The company website doesn't help and i could find no other information as to when or if the next payment instalment needs to be paid. Other companies have a timetable.
