Remains of Matthew Flinders found, page-11

Poor old mr Flinders after all of his amazing work and exploration and maping of Australia .On his return to England where he should of been met with honours for his work . He put into Mauritius for rest and supplies only to be imprisoned there for 5 years due to France being at war with England in the Naplionic war. When he finally did get back to England very ill and virtually forgotten the country was only interested in war heros. Very sad for such a great man.
