    @Trash2Treasure; those 'Australia Day' protests aren't aimed at you.

    There's no expectation that current Australians should be weighed down by guilt related to British invasion of Aboriginal Lands which commenced on January 26th, 1788.

    What's at issue is the convenient DENIAL of an incredibly important part of the story of Aboriginal Peoples and the impact British invasion had.

    A mature nation cannot continue to bury its head in the sand and propagate lies that Australia commenced on January 26th, 1788 and that January 1st, 1901 is meaningless.
