Unlike some on this thread i can see positives for iron ore price as Vale scramble to deal with this disaster. Demand is going nowhere so price will rise as a major player has assets frozen and other measures from government and also the legal and pr problems will lead to lower production from Vale.
BHP has dealt with the previous dam disaster appropriately and this is still being dealt with and all the latest disaster will do is bring some extra focus to proceedings that are already well advanced and priced in to the share price.
Please be careful not to fall for the doom sayers predictions that BHP will be affected by the latest disaster which they had no part in.
