Loving the metung reference, my dad has been there for last 30 yrs. He just sold up and came back to melb ( closer to the grankids ) can vouch for the bakery, best pies in vic. steak and cheese was my fav. on a sad note tho, last few months bakery has burnt down..... that and the cafe on the cnr closest to village green, and fish and chip joint next to that. they reckon it started in back of fish n chip and then spread to cafe and bakery. The metung regatta was always an event not to be missed.
