Spodumene oversupply?
AVZ is in a coma. AJM were supposed to bring out their Quarterly today. Wherefore art thou? AJM CEO said he would announce Stage 2 update in Jan19. Their COO departs.
No AVZ, no AJM Stage 2? I reckon those Spodumene oversupply issues may dissipate soon and Lithium pricing may start recovering.
The one thing that cures high prices, is high prices. Conversely ...
A year ago we were $1.25. Stage 1 had commenced construction ... only.
We were 88c last October with production and first shipment. MIN announce sale of 50% of Wodgina valuing Pilgangoora at over $3.2b. We announce 5mtpa Stage 2 FID. We announce eventual yield will be 6.2mtpa. We announce funding in place and development proceeding. We announce water for Stages 2 and 3. We announce on spec Stage 1 production at 85% of nameplate at Dec18. We announce Stage 3 to 7.5mtpa (and who knows eventual yield ... 9mtpa?).
The SP goes to 65c.
You have to laughand perhaps shout a hearty WTF!
