According to Steve , all PHES bidders expect to own the pit freehold and its a non-negotiable aspect of their bids. No further mining under the pit will be possible. Nugent will continue to owned by HGO and will be available for UG mining. There is no issue with turbine insurance related to mining Nugent ( an issue which came up a while back)
