Humans have been launching rockets into space from planes for years ,I think proof of concept is well proven. I would agree if it was different tech but it’s not . just upgraded . Would be like saying you need to prove that internal combustion engine works in a Holden as well as a Ford, a crude analogy I know , but you get my drift.

its also far cheaper safer and easier to launch from a plane, u can also choose launch locations and allow for weather issues
