I thought the name sounded familiar....
I believe Darren Bechtel is part of the Bechtel family (one of the 50 richest in the U.S.) who own one of the largest construction companies in the world. My dad did engineering work for them when I was a youngster, they also have very deep U.S. government contracting ties.
