Well, strictly based of my imagination, maybe this is what happened:
Management knows that they have bills due and they have no funds left. So they decided to do capital raise. Despite their best efforts, however, no one was interested or maybe the amount was so paltry that it wouldn't even cover the transaction costs. So they closed the CR early, without having raised any funds and now management is busy trying to figure out an alternative. Maybe that is why the CR was indicated as being closed.
Just a quick personal guess...
My best, personal, prediction is that at this point, maybe, SAS is could only get 10 million or so max. That amount would be terrible considering that, as far as I know, SAS would need to pay gommspace 3.2 million. SAS would be struggling to do anything with the 6.2 million (after fee) remaining.
