A company puts out a bit of guff and tells a story
The beer guys of the world either choose to believe or not. They may then make a decision to invest or not.
Time goes on and the company doesn't quite do what they proposed at day one (not uncommon).
They then tell a new story explaining the shortcomings and reconfirm all is good and look out for the upside going forwards.
Then announcements are made giving guidance that money will be made and investors have made a good decision as profits are coming and growth is promising. Explanations seem plausible as to why it hasn't happened to date.
Then we reconfirm financial guidance and comment on further growth and addition JV's ( i.e. growth). Life is good.
We then announce that life is not so good.
I am the chief and I hurriedly move aside and appoint one of my braves.
He takes the flack and gets the job of possibly telling the truth
The truth hurts BIG-TIME
Now we try to recover and do stuff that businesses in trouble do. ( Not uncommon)
What is uncommon is the liar who perpetuated the initial fallacies of company performance is still around and still calling himself the chief.
And no he doesn't own anything. He sold that to you and I when he floated the company.
CAO IS A DISGRACE AND HAS TO GO. His claim to fame is being a good liar. There is NO place for him in the business world and I sure hope he reads HC
