That is Hoover's Bowling alley. 100% Teak, built way back when. Still in full working order. Just waiting for the mine to kick back into life and create a buzz for the locals and the share holders. There was a heated competition on that night. I tried flying the flag for the Aussie share holders and was doing OK but a local (lovely guy, Namto)  who had worked on the mine through two previous owner/operators ended up sweeping the floor. I bring him up because he was typical of the energy there, saying, 'when will we start producing'.   They are keen to see Bawdwin up and running as a modern mine. In the meantime, they have preserved it as if it was only built yesterday.
