During 2017, EVs used up 185,000 tonnes of copper.
The Tweet below estimates EV demand to increase to 1.74 million tonnes of copper by the year 2027.
By the year 2027, it will really be about survival of the fittest in business: those Australian companies that have the best or better copper projects, the chances of long-term survival are good. But only if they have ethical management.
