As you know, it's never a good idea to try to separate a dog from his bone. Presumably Baha'u'llah understood this very well by sidestepping any clash with science and advocating that all major religions were authentic revelations and there was no absolute requirement to become a Bahai' in order to embrace it's social and perhaps moral and spiritual principles.
However, for what it's worth I think it's counterproductive for Bahai' to portray Baha'u'llah as a manifestation of the Christian Biblical "Spirit of Truth".
As wotsup has pointed out, Christians can quote various verses, some as shown below, indicating that the advocate or comforter promised was the Holy Ghost or Spirit of Truth, not The Father as such but His Spirit (regardless as to how that is regarded).
Also, this promise was to those Jesus was with at the time .. it was to be a guide and comfort for them in their trials and lifetime, not another Messenger from God thousands of years in the future.
Secondly, suggesting that Baha'u'llah is a manifestation of Jesus or the second coming of Jesus is guaranteed to completely alienate all those Christians who fervently believe Jesus is the same today, yesterday, tomorrow, the only door and their property !
It inevitably leads to misunderstanding and the feeling that Bahai' is trying to steal their Jesus and his unique position at the top of the tree.
Bahai' already has been through this with Islam by trying to usurp the place of Muhammad as the "final" Messenger.
Wotsup and others on HC are just a tiny, tiny, tiny trickle of "Christianity" yet you have not altered their course even a mm in just the one area of who Baha'u'llah was (according to Bahai' beliefs).
How will Bahai' possibly alter the course of the mighty rivers that comprise Nations, capitalist systems and the dominant World religions ?
I hope you don't exhaust yourselves attempting to hold back the tide rather than rescue those who can be rescued.
