LNY is an imminent gold producer, with extensive assets in Oz & NZ...gold is there core business. In the past LNY has partnered with the likes of NCM (in NZ) & ABX (Agate creek).
Coking Coal (Ashford) is not LNY’s core business.
Notwithstanding Coking coal is used to make steel, a use for which there are no ready substitutes. That is unlike the use of thermal coal to produce power, which increasingly is generated from non-fossil-fuel sources.
