Not rubbish at all eagle! The old legislation stated that only the Home Office medical staff doctors could approve medical evacuations from Manus and Nauru. Now, Dr Al Shabab from Dapto can approve asylum seekers for medical evacuation from Manus and Nauru. To stop it the minister has to prove that the asylum seeker is a criminal or a terrorist. And besides that, we all know no Labor minister will say 'no' to any doctor wanting to evacuate an asylum seeker from Nauru or Manus. So, if Labor gets in, just watch the boats come in again in droves.
