Unless there is a spin out of the precious metals in NSW , those assets may never be developed by an EV maker. The competition in the car market is intense and all consuming. Senior car mgtmt will have no interest in chasing stray resources because their contracts will all be tied to the needs of the car market.

If a metals spin out is achieved ALL senior managers should get bonuses paid in shares of stock. Today mining senior managers get huge CASH bonuses which help stockholders not at all once they are paid. I used to own shares in Northgate which owned Fosterville and the mine GM GRADUALLY convinced Northgate that moderate production was the best that could be expected. Kirkland Lake eventually got ownership of Fosterville and the in place mgrs reported they had encouraging signs from drilling;but held back the actual readings. 

Eric Sprott a self made billionaire mining investor smelled a rat, flew to Fosterville to get the total read out data and found the mgemt team had decided to report the bonanza drilling results in dribs and drabs so they could get their wages for many years to come. That is why stock bonuses need to be paid. The stock goes up, everyone benefits. Sprott had those in place folks fired for wrongdoing. 

No executive should be paid over $250,000 . In Canada it is not uncommon to see CEOs get $600K - $1.2 mill and given that geos are the real brains that salary level is a waste. NSW is a NICE place with great weather, nice people, and stable gov't. It is not Burkina Faso or gang laden Mexico, etc etc so hiring best and brightest for moderate salaries should happen.
