Good find. This is highy possible. Given " The corporate watchdog suspended the financial licence of Halifax in January after discussions with administrators. Investors will still be able close out their trades despite the suspension." it's not strange their clients sold out to close the holding.
If some one can check other stocks had similar selling from this broker, that would be a good confirmation.
