    If you are referring to my wine drinking habit you are correct :)...a fair dinkum wino lover lol

    As for CGT, I don't mind paying taxes at at all (and I pay more than my fair share). Basically it indicates I have made money and increased my wealth.

    As for NG it helped me initially get there.

    So basic maths lesson for the day...

    Scenario 1.
    NG + profit = CGT = more investors and rentals = open to competition and market forces

    Scenario 2.
    No NG + No profit = No CGT = minimal investors = no competition = less rentals + much higher rent

    Scenario 3.
    Completely scrap NG and the Govt provides all rentals to completely solve rental provision and lowers rent prices = ROLOL...isn't going to happen!
