Baby boomers will no doubt remember the first "peak everything" point back in the 80's (I think) when the fear was that there was only 10 or 20 yrs worth of any hard commodity left.
I remember the NSW Gov sold off their fleet of V8 Fairlane's at auction & got bugger all for them because buyers were convinced that they wouldn't be able to afford to run them.
Same old games, just a new generation to manipulate.
