Good points raised there, I have always thought of what humans call male or female as 2 points on a line and a lot in between and a lot in between again. Although it is only primates including human species that have sex for enjoyment, It is a primal instinct that can be a dangerous thing if taken away, ie someone finds someone new or cheats which can make the individual left so alone and then desperate they have been known to experience temporary insanity and commit self harm or murder.

I think anyone who has experienced rejection after love and that is a lot of people, are never ever the same even though they forget eventually it makes them treat sexuality after that with great caution. There have been Males and Females throughout history who chose not to even recognise the other sex because it was claimed it made them more focused and they were mostly genius at some form of arts.

Reproduction is considered something on this planet for rejoice and happiness, yet when anyone looks at the world and what the human population is doing because we consume all manner of things we are the Trex of planet Earth. Yet the Earth one day may not care anything about our sexuality and wipe us out because of it. we are also the only animal on this planet that some bow down to a god or a god that doesn't exist Atheist.

A Scary species indeed. We really don't know anything about why or how, and never will.
