Wrong. Are you sure you're are talking about the right company?
All their metrics are annualised. Bad debts are not per transaction. Zip doesn't model their business on transactions. They model on receivables.
And are you suggesting if someone buys a $100 pair of jeans with zip, they only pay back $97-98?
Annualised 2-3% bad debts. Annualised revenue yield 18%-20%. It's possible you missed ALL of the company announcements while you were away which explained this stuff. For reference, I think the share price was around 80c at that time.
