Construction waste (demolition) volumes down and set to fall further. This is only one of CWY's waste activities - though one that generates big landfill revenues.
Elsewhere, CWY has done very well. The main chance is automated waste sorting and recycling being obliged upon councils by China refusing to take our sh1t any longer - otherwise landfills will quickly fill and close. New standards mean new processing facilities and waste contractors will have to be incentivised to build with attractive $$$ contracts. Only a handful of companies have the scale, skills and capital to step up. CWY is one of these.
Old Engineer and I have been pointing energetically at this opportunity for ages. Looks like Mr Market has cottoned on.
