I think you might find it could be getting a little personal. The fall-out when willie got turfed from RAU was not good and I don't think RAU and willie have been on speaking terms since despite the long history between willie, jk, chris roberts, etc. Willie may have spoke with forked-tongue which saw the merger deal collapse in 2006 (their reneging, not RAU).

Yes it appears that RAU have some decent grounds to go after Luzon legally, but I think RAU wouldn't mind putting a bit of biff into willie at the same time. All good fun as long as they don't spend too much shareholder money doing it.
