Well I can't see blatant manipulation in either, but I'm not a forensic expert. Short interest doesn't mean your stock is manipulated, but it usually means there are some people who think it is over valued. On average, heavily shorted stocks tend to underperform the broader market, but that is usually because of a combination of these things: they tend to be either expensive, unable (or not yet able) to generate cash internally or undergoing serial downgrades to forecast revenue or earnings. Those people will turn out to make or lose money in any specific case.
The fact that the stock price has fallen is no evidence of anything... just for fun, I whipped up the total return of all stocks that existed three years ago and still exist... out of 1634 names, 848 have gone up, 766 are down and 20 are unchanged. Of the "downs", 409 of them have cumulative total return of worse than -50%(Ouch!). The point is that just because the stock price is down, it doesn't mean it is manipulated.
@Gekkko, opinions, speculation, credentials and anything else are irrelevant to whether my contributions have been factual. They have addressed a feature in a very specific way and whilst there is plenty of complaining about motivations and whatever, I note that you've not yet disagreed on a point of fact. Also thanks for pointing out LPD.
