    Thanks Noel. It seems to me that the sand which blocked the borehole was sand introduced during fracking and was blown back with gas flowing at high velocity. From this I surmise that the blowout was fairly localised. If
    this analysis is correct then the future of Jaws 1 looks very promising provided,of course, that they control any
    future blowouts. Hopefully this can be easily accomplished by restricting the rate at which gas comes to the
    surface.
