"I am no O&G guy but I did ask SN the same question mid Jan after the incident occured, regarding having a plan so the issue doesn't occur again, when gas surges.
you will be pleased to hear that there is a plan. Feedback at the time was that gas surges will bypass the separator and head straight for the flare. Think they may look to draw down a bit quicker this time around too"
