The green mineral in the highly foliated diamond core is most likely either chlorite the chromium mica fuchsia. Think the purpose of the photo is to highlight the highly distorted nature of the rock, often very conducive to producing better grade in a gold bearing system.

@Lethal70 also summed it up nicely.
Put simply, we may be looking at higher grades with depth.


Just a reminder that the grades novo are now confirming are very exciting especially at surface.
Go back to their table of concentration and do the sums on their results.
The highest grade is 2.97 gpt before and 792.4 after sorting.
That is close to what they now have as an average of 2.55 gpt.
The rate of concentration for 2.55 gpt is 680 gpt after sorting.




Now we go to our announcement which just confirms that we are considering doubling the size of our input.
While we are awaiting further optimisation in Metallurgy, plant design, drill results, further upgrades of our resource, possible upgrade to our head grade, etc etc, we do not know how much the increase will be in output.
That should prove to be very positive in the nr of the pfs.
Keep in mind that we do not need to raise for the plant construction until next year.
This year we need possibly another $16-20m, hopefully via a spp.
I also wonder just how much our resource has already grown with the drilling to date that we are still awaiting assays on but 2m oz this year and with our managements ability to keep costs down, Imho, the outcome can only improve.
Like Shamer said to me this morning, "look at what our bod have achieved with $10m in the past 12 months compared to arv and their spending."
