Delisting is not the same as liquidation, administration etc. I would rather be with a well managed private or delisted company than this debacle from a listed company. As we can see ASX do ABSOLUTELY nothing to protect the interests of the smaller investor. So a listed company offers NO additional level of protection to us - it should, but it doesn't.
I have been involved in a few companies that chose to delist and become private - Oak, ConnectEast etc.
The main issue is that it can be harder to sell shares.
So if Nathan et al can get their s**t together and get the assets of the business working, we may have the chance of seeing our money do something and give us a ROI? However not holding breath.
As I have said before - we are in the realm of the Lottery ticket - millions to one against success and seeing our dollars again.
