Ann: Acquisition of LIFX and Share Placement, page-325

Hi @techfacts I didn't invest here for a smart light. But you do have to consider the positives in this acquisition. LIFX isn't an old light Co. like Phillips but yet it does get compared to it. That tells me it doesn't just have a potential for growth but is actually achieving it. If Phillips are pricing smart bulbs at this price range so should LIFX, at least for now anyway. With LIFX, soon to be a listed Co. with access to capital to keep COGS down does seem promising atm. R&D will likely be a big expense but that's the cost of being a leader in tech.
Once acquisition is stamped its LIFX announcements that will head us north, unless we hear news of a whale or we start hearing news on positive sales in Buddy products IMO.
I have no doubt DM is feeling the pressure from Sophs, Instos and more importantly us retailers.
At present SP 7.3 with acquisition raising at 8, my sentiment stays at buy.
