I notice you are back on the forums today. I have been waiting to hear your opinion on these acquisitions announced by GSW.

I have been pretty quiet here lately, I didn't post when that shocking quarterly came out. It spoke for itself.

It was interesting to read what information management chose to put in this announcement. In my opinion, it is just another example of management only telling holders information they want to hear.

On the face of it, there seems to be some logic in regards to these acquisitions (based on the minimal information provided).

The real details seem to be lacking once again,

    - do either of these businesses earn revenue, and if so how much?
    - are they profitable?
    - when were they founded?
    - who are the major clients, or how many clients do they have?
    The list goes on...

Anyway, I thought I would go and have a look at the website of one of the companies.

The website loads and guess what's flashing right in the middle of the screen "FREE TRIAL".

    Is this GSW Mark 11?

There is a section there about pricing. 3 options are available at $2,$4 or $6 per month per head. Larger businesses can negotiate on price.

I think to myself they need to have a lot of customers or customers with lots of staff to generate any meaningful revenue.

I then see a Header for Testimonials. I click on this. 4 testimonials, all from customers of the same employer (a hardware chain)!!!
The chain, according to its website, has over 5000 stores in the US with 11,000 working in the head office.
The chain appears to be a franchise model, so who knows if each franchisee does their own thing or whether it is all managed from head office.

The cynic in me tells me part of the reason for the lack of detail is to make it impossible to tell how each sector of the business is performing financially when it comes around to reporting cash receipts in the quarterly reports.

    I still remained unconvinced here.
