Simply not true. I was at the AGM and was surprised at the lack of questions as there was considerable grumbling on HC prior to the meeting. The few questions that were asked were answered rationally and fully. There was no fobbing off. MR was extremely pissed off at the knock back of options to the Argentinian lawyer but his anger was directed at the fund managers who called this one, not the retail holders who were at the meeting. The directors and key staff were also generous with their time after the meeting. If anyone attended the meeting and felt they did not get fair value then perhaps they did not put enough effort into asking questions or seeking out staff to talk to.
