too early to say, as the takeover is not complete. As I understand it the regulatory approvals have not all been received yet.
most of the concern centred around whether Gemalto would have to give priority to selling Thales products over Senetas. I don’t know enough to know whether this is a genuine concern or just a concern by analysts who didn’t know anymore than I do.
Certainly a lot of Senetas products seem complementary rather than direct competitors and the relationship still seems strong
