can't see why anyone is suggesting data wouldn't be significant/good
that's the whole point isn't it
the abstracts are not automatic as is my belief - they are chosen for presentation based on:
The Conference Co-Chairpersons will evaluate the scientific quality of the submitted abstracts on the basis of the following criteria: novelty of the research, significance of the findings, and clarity
if they weren't all that wouldn't they just be a poster presentation?
