I believe the aims of the forum are to sponsor a free and open discussion of all pertinent information of a share to help all to come to a
logical conclusion as to the shares true value to their own portfolio
there are longs shorts and sideways all involved all with some or little data to add to the conversation which hopefully all adds up to a complete
picture of the information available
commsec has 5 analysts estimates giving a consensus of 80c EPS for 2019 and 73c EPS for 2020
now at PE of conservative 12.5 this gives SP $10 and SP $9.12 their recommendation is Hold yet the current SP is $6.06
and quite a few on this forum say it is going down
now the avge EPS for the last 10 yrs is 46c this gives SP(PE of 12.5) of $5.75 rain hail and shine
we are in an upturn in the IO price particularly to FMG (grade discount) and FMG has costs well under control and is improving grade
so my opinion is that it cannot be valued less than $5.75 and could be valued as high as $10
