I agree that it is probably an issue with what the accountants want to report, and what management want to report.

It probably doesn't help that the business has submitted information to SEC for the nasdaq listing, and now accountants want to report something different.

I can see how such a situation would cause problems.

Management have probably provided unaudited revenue figures to SEC, and now the accountants are saying that revenue is something more/less (probably less)

Such a mistake would not be that easy to just sign off on I imagine.
