from what I can gather BLK and Wesfarmers were in dispute over the tenements, so for Wesfarmers to give up 70% without a fight speaks volumes for what they reckon the deposit is worth: not worth fighting over. Wesfarmers even make a few bucks by forwarding the historical data to BLK for a couple of mill. Wesfarmers will stump up for 30% of costs if the process is feasible.
