$11K for drafting software would not be an annual cost surely. Unless prices have gone crazy last few years you would get Autocad and Microstation for that & realistically you would use that version for at least 2 or 3 years? $5K for a computer also seems v expensice ie 2 x 22" LCD's on a pretty specky box would be way less than that & surely you don't replace it every year too?
Do you contract to just one place or many? & do you trade shares or long term invest?
