    Yes, I could see how that could have been read as you did Dave.

    Another issue is that Defined Benefit Pensions are not indexed in the way Aged Pensions are. Aged Pensions are indexed more generously. Hence the Defined Benefit Pension year in and year out, fails to keep up with Aged Pensions and the effect is, of course, compounding over the years.
