I already offered my thoughts on Alexiflam NF here.

With respect to Alexiflam FR, my understanding is that approvals are in place. It’s TSCA compliant and REACH registered.

As to why the Company is only focusing on the military at this point for its Alexiflam FR product, I suspect that this product’s chief competitive advantage comes when used in NyCo. NyCo seems to be a particularly challenging fabric for FR application, but Alexium has managed to nail it.

With respect to other synthetic fabric markets, epoxies etc., my feeling is that there might be much more established competition also offering "environmentally friendly" FR solutions.
