That's quite funny. I think this is more of a "chicken-and-egg" case than anything. Are the games so bad that the sales people look incompetent? Or are the sales people so incompetent that the games perform poorly?
I don't know for sure what the case is. Just looking at Max Gaming though it is clear Ainsworth hasn't had a game that performed anywhere close to satisfactory in a very, very long time. They can thank their stars for Black Bear and whatever high-denom hits they had 10 years ago that are still keeping them relevant. I remember looking at the numbers for Firepower Fury and my jaw absolutely dropped. How could a game perform that much better? Big Hit Bonanza was another stinker.
And this latest round of games, Kanga Cash, Crazy Jackpots and Mad Millions are already off to a tremendously poor start. I don't know how they can say that revenue generation will be "performance based" when the performance just isn't there. I expect there to another 2H that fails to meet expectations.
But surely, this isn't all game devs fault, right? Do sales contribute to the problem that Ainsworth has?
