From my understanding, the probability of that occurring is almost zero. AD8 provides chips to a range of manufacturers, because they are independent of the manufacturer, those companies are quite willing to purchase from AD8. If Yamaha took AD8 over, then those competitors of Yamaha would be very reluctant to use a product produced by Yamaha in their own systems. (It would be like FORD making a car with an engine produced by Holden (when we had the car industry in Aust))
