atomou I respect your passion and your principles but I would maintain that most people primarily vote with their wallet and most people had the issues at the forefront of your mind well in the background. Call me a cynic. Hence you will continue to see bribery and middle class welfare from all parties.
When a reasonable alternative ("safe" pair of economic hands) appears then the issues which fire you up get more of a consideration.
