I would wait until the DNA test before assuming race. A lesson learnt from Elizabeth Warren. She has a sad story of wrongfully assumed racial identity.
i have never heard of an Aboriginal body insisting on DNA before, so this raises doubt to me.
The stronger someone supports an ethnic group outside of the ethnicities organisations, the more doubt I hold.
It is sad that people value what their ancestors may have done. Whatever happened it can not be changed, but a person's actions today can.
I find the whole idea of DNA ancestry very shallow.
