For me it depends on the run, lack thereof and the probability of hitting hydrocarbon shows on their way to the target that might cause a run no matter how relevant they are. Sometimes it might be months before spud if some crazy run happens like on EGO, sometimes it might be the day before target. More often than not though selling some on spud is a good idea.
